Mastering your emotions is nothing more than allowing them to be as they are.
There’s nothing to even master. You can simply be.
When fully experienced to completion, all emotions flow right through you like a wisp of wind.
There’s no essential difference between positive and negative emotions. The field of psychology can make you think emotions are an illness or disorder. But {real} zen masters know: ALL emotions are intelligent, beautiful, and helpful – as long as it’s a TRUE emotion (not a programmed response.)
